WORK EXPERIENCE

November 2016 – present

TURO | SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Senior UX Designer

Turo is a peer to peer car sharing app dedicated to putting the world’s one million cars to good use. I collaborated with product managers and engineers to create new cross-platform features to move business-led metrics and enhance the guest and host experiences. Some of these efforts included:

  • Created more transparency and guidelines for adding an additional driver to a trip
    • Provided a flow and more built-in communication between guest and host about who will be driving the car and who is allowed to pick up the car.

  • Reduced bad debt and dependency on Customer Support to help guests pay unpaid balances.
    • Added friction to the booking a car experience, which directs guests to pay their balances before continuing.

  • Designed and documented system patterns for Android
    • Improved design team workflow by documenting and simplifying common android elements and components.
